Primarily a bug-fix release, but a couple new features for the power-users out there. This version has been used successfully to create entirely new weapons, glowing monsters, and other cool stuff. The patcher ought to actually work now too... and I think I've undone the damage I did when I put the patcher in.
What's New?
• Added "Expert Mode" shape functions. To enable select "Activate Expert Mode" from Shapes menu.
Expert functions are:
• "Create New Bitmap": appends a new bitmap at the end of the current collection
• "Create New Sequence": appends a new sequence at the end of the current collection
• Added sequence name edit field
• Enabled "number of views" popup. Note that this popup and the "frames per view" field will automatically expand or shrink the frames collection and attempt to copy a sensible frame into the new slots; you should manually inspect the frames to see that it's all okay, though.
• Added ability to mark "self-luminescent" , or glowing, colors. Glowing colors are now drawn with a 3D-ish beveled appearance. You may turn glowing on and off by command-clicking a color.
What's Fixed?
• Fixed bug that could cause crash during "Clone Collection"
• Fixed bug that could cause incorrect patch import
• Fixed bug that could cause incorrect color table import
• Improved color-matching algorithm; Anvil should work just fine in 256 or 1000's of colors now.
• Documentation glitch; dy and dz were backwards
• Better range checking; frame editor won't draw out-of-range bitmaps
• Fixed glitch that sometimes prevented the "scale factor" edit field from accepting clicks
• Lots of behind-the-scenes work to make patch imports work when new bitmaps and sequences have been added
• Showed the color table popup in "color table edit" view so that you can tell where color table imports will go
• Forced a redraw when returning to bitmap view after changing any color table
• Fixed bug that could cause frame edits to not "stick" – some reports of this still happening/different bug?
What Happened to 1.0.1?
